Ticats sign star receiver Kenny Lawler to extension through 2028 season
HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed star wide receiver Kenny Lawler to a contract extension through the 2028 season, the CFL club announced Tuesday.
The 31-year-old earned league and East Division all-star honours last season.
He recorded 86 receptions for 1,443 yards, the fifth-highest one-season total in franchise history, and 14 touchdowns in 18 regular-season games.
Lawler has played 81 CFL regular-season games with Hamilton, Winnipeg, and Edmonton, amassing 342 receptions for 5,551 yards and 39 touchdowns.
