Gas prices on the rise once again

The cost of keeping the tank full has gone back up.

GasBuddy said the average price per litre of regular gasoline Thursday, Jan. 29, was $1.41.9 in Vernon.

That was up 14 cents from the price of $1.27.9 reported Tuesday.

The most recent gas price was also 10 cents higher that it was the week before, and was up 21 cents from December’s average.

However, Vernon’s average gas prices were down 18 cents from the same period in 2025.
