Canadian Blood Services needs blood

Canadian Blood Services is reminding people in Kelowna and the Interior to book blood and plasma appointments before the year ends.

Donations usually drop over the holidays, and recent bad weather has made it harder for some to get to their appointments.

The Kelowna donor centre will be open Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can book online at blood.ca, or through the GiveBlood app.
