Shots fired in Kelowna neighbourhood, RCMP confirm

Kelowna RCMP tells Vernon Matters they are investigating after shots were fired early Wednesday morning in the Kirschner Mountain area.

Police say the gunfire was reported around 3 a.m. in the 2000 block of Cortina Drive.

Mounties believe the incident was isolated, but the investigation remains active as officers continue gathering evidence and canvassing the area.

RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed unusual activity or has CCTV footage from the neighbourhood to contact the detachment at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2025-71449.
