Mounties in Kelowna have nabbed what appears to be two prolific thieves involved in recent break and enters.

They say Jason Turner and Jerry Grimson were arrested Saturday Nov. 8, following an alleged break and enter and theft of several items from a commercial building in the 3200 block of Richter Street.

Grimson was arrested at his residence while Turner ran off but was found by a police dog in a nearby shed.

Police said at the time of the offence, Turner was on court-imposed conditions, while Grimson was on bail.

“These proactive strategies show the continued commitment by the Kelowna RCMP to the community in focusing on repeat property crime offenders,” Cpl. Guillaume Tanguay, of the Kelowna RCMP Proactive Enforcement Unit, said.

Both men remained in custody pending court appearances.
