Planned work did not cause water outage in Vernon

Greater Vernon Water said the work at the Silver Star Utility did not cause a water outage.

The work was done Thursday, Sept. 4, and was expected to cause a temporary water outage and result in a Water Quality Advisory for the Pinnacles Road area.

GVW said the work had wrapped up as of 3:40 p.m. Thursday, and that the “system remained in normal operations during the planned work.”

It also said a Water Quality Advisory would not be necessary.
