YLW and possible Air Canada labour action

Travellers flying Air Canada from Kelowna International Airport (YLW) could see delays and cancellations this weekend as a possible flight attendant strike approaches.

The airline says a complete shutdown could begin Saturday if no deal is reached with the union.

While there are no cancellations yet at YLW, passengers are urged to check flight status before heading to the airport.

Starting Friday, two extra customer service agents will be at the check-in counter at YLW to assist travellers through the weekend.
