Vernon RCMP looking to speak with bike theft witness

Local police are looking for a witnesses in a bike theft case.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say an e-bike was stolen from outside the Dollarama at Polson Mall around 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27.

Officers later located the bike and arrested one person in connection with the theft.

Police say a person is believed to have witnessed the theft and want that individual to come forward.

“If you’re the person who saw the theft take place, we’d like to speak with you as your information could help advance our investigation,” Const. Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, said.
