70 kilos of cocaine seized at Osoyoos border

We’re just now learning of a major cocaine bust at the Osoyoos border.

Back on June 11, a Canadian driver returning from the U.S. was stopped at the Osoyoos port of entry, and border officers uncovered 70 kilograms of suspected cocaine hidden in the truck bed.

That’s the biggest cocaine seizure ever recorded at that crossing, enough for about 140,000 doses.

The driver was arrested and turned over to RCMP Federal Policing.
