Vernon Kidney Walk on Sunday

The annual Kidney Walk in Vernon will be held this Sunday at Polson Park starting at 10 a.m.
The event helps transplant and donor patients — and those on dialysis — with their travel and accommodation costs.
“This event also brings awareness to the importance of becoming an organ donor and the importance of organ donation,” Team lead Pamela Balcaen told Vernon Matters.
Balcaen said there have been lots of community donations for door prizes.
