Watch for door to door business scams: RCMP

Lake Country RCMP are warning residents and businesses about someone going door to door offering to do work but wanting to be paid up front.

That is a red flag and police say the victims never hear from the scammer again.

Uninvited businesses that operate door to door are required to provide contracts for their services and products.
