Vipers add defenceman from Warriors

The Vernon Vipers have acquired defenceman Zhenya Miles from the West Kelowna Warriors in exchange for future considerations.

Vipers coach and GM Jason McKee calls Miles “a talented young defenceman (born in 2006) that will bring depth to our back end for this season.”

“He has some very good tools to become an elite defender in the BCHL,” McKee added

Miles, from Winnipeg, had 1 goal and 3 assists in 23 games for the Warriors this season.

“I am really excited for a new beginning,” Miles told VernonVipers.com. “I can’t wait to get started.”
