B.C. Hydro reports power has been restored to some properties.

The utility provider stated power had been restored to approximately 300 customers, though 949 remained without power as of 3:09 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.
Power was knocked out following a motor vehicle collision at 1:24 p.m.
B.C. Hydro crews were on scene, and power is still expected to be restored to all properties by 10 p.m. Thursday.

A motor vehicle crash knocked out power to residents between Foothills and Silver Star in Vernon Thursday afternoon.
B.C. Hydro reports the outage began at 1:24 p.m. Thursday, Feb.10.
The last update at 2:23 p.m. stated 1,227 customers were without power.
Crews were reportedly on site as of last update, and power was estimated to be restored by 10 p.m. Thursday.
