A natural friendship between like minded businesses

The relationship between Back to Earth and Simply Delicious Natural and Gourmet Market stretches back 17 years over a shared passion for bringing quality, local, organic products to customers.

Store owner Cameron Grant gives the Coldstream company prime end-cap real estate to display its product line. Simply Delicious Natural and Gourmet Market was the first local store to give Routley a foothold for her fledgling business.

“We definitely have an awesome relationship in the sense that if we have new and exciting products, Simply Delicious is typically one of the retailers that will be really excited to carry it,” Routley stated.

Like many businesses, Back to Earth started in the kitchen. The Okanagan Valley provided the roots, flowers, and an abundance of plants that inspired the original research, and which create the array of Back to Earth products.

With a team of naturopaths, biochemists, herbalists, and aromatherapists,  Routley mastered the art of infusion of pure essential oil blends with local and wild-crafted plants from around the world.

After researching the effects of toxins in households, as well as personal care products, Routley started asking the question: “What harsh chemicals are we bringing into our homes and what are we putting on our bodies?”
