TACK SALE & SADDLE FITTING DEMO Armstrong is the place to be on Saturday March 29. The Horsey Ladies (Okanagan) are once again hosting the annual Tack Sale in the Armstrong Curling Club from 10 am to 2 pm inviting all horse enthusiasts to come shop and socialize at this popular event. There will be new and used tack for sale (for minis to draft), horse riding and driving gear, show and barn clothing, books…and new this year DK Saddlery (now with an outlet in Lake Country) will join us for a saddle fitting demo at 12 noon. And this is all FREE! The money from the rental tables will go towards the Horsey Ladies annual banquet in November which is a larger fundraiser giving back to BC charities. Family Saturdays takes place on the last Saturday of each month with an art project suitable for little kids and big kids alike. The workshop starts promptly at 1 p.m each month and families are welcome to stay the entire session from 1 p.m to 3:30 p.m, or leave earlier. All materials for the workshops are supplied.
