Vernon’s legacy British-style pub has been sold to new owners.

The news was posted on Sir Winston’s Facebook page.

“The new owners are excited to bring back the old glory days. Have patience while they get ready for summer but things are coming together. TV’s are updated and ready for the hockey playoffs! No better place to sit and watch the game than upstairs in front of our bank of six big screens! Beer lines are full and prices are right,” the post stated.

The pub at 2705 32nd Street was listed in January for $99,000.

Sir Winston’s Pub and Restaurant opened in 1995 along with Dimitri’s Greek Restaurant.

In 2003, the restaurant was closed and a beer, wine and liquor store was added.

There were other changes in recent years including a rooftop patio to extend the summer space.

The sale does not include the liquor store.

The new owners are Cory Jmaeff and his fiancé, Juli Spearing, of Lake Country.

Jmaeff formerly owned Woody’s Pub in Lake Country ad the Packing House Pub in Kelowna.
