Vees too hot to handle for Vipers

The Penticton Vees improved to 8-0 in the BC Hockey League with an 8-2 victory over the Vernon Vipers Saturday night at Kal Tire Place.
The defending league champions scored six straight goals to blow open what was a close 2-1 game until late in the first period.
Lynn, Massachusetts native Billy Norcross scored two goals for the Vees who outshot Vernon 36-25 before 1,556 fans.
Reagan Milburn and Lee Parks netted goals for the Vipers who fall to 3-4-0-1.
