Greater Vernon Minor Hockey unveils new logo

Greater Vernon Minor Hockey has a new look.

The association has announced a new logo on social media.

Kevin Bathhurst, the executive director of hockey operations with GVMHA, said the logo was something the board of directors wanted to change.

“The previous logo has been in place for a significant period of time, and there was a desire to update the brand,” Bathhurst told Vernon Matters. “This coincided with a need to replace our rec jerseys. The old set of rec jerseys had come to the end of their life cycle, and updating the jerseys and logo was a great opportunity to update our branding.”

Bathhurst said their rep teams will still wear the Vernon Vipers logo and colours as they have in previous years.

“The new logo released today will be worn by all of our recreation teams,” he said.
