A high-profile building in downtown Vernon has been sold.

The former Royal Bank on 30th Avenue at 32nd Street (Highway 97) was sold for three million dollars, according to Western Investor, with no word on who the buyer was.

The listed price was $3.28 million while the B.C. Assessment value was $4.23 million.

The office building has been empty and on the market since the bank closed that branch in September 2019, with staff transferred to the Polson Mall location.
