Sicamous man scratches his way to $50k win

A Sicamous man is $50,000 richer after scoring the top prize in a Lucky Lines Scratch and Win ticket.

“I scratched it and couldn’t believe my eyes, so I took it to a nearby gas station to check it,” Harold Fitzpatrick told the B.C. Lottery Corporation.

“It feels really good. It makes me feel special and blessed.”

The ticket was purchased from Eagle Valley Pharmacy.

Fitzpatrick told the BCLC he hasn’t decided yet how to spend his winnings.
