Man badly burned in Polson Park

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are seeking information related to a suspicious occurrence that resulted in a man suffering serious burns.

On Wednesday, Dec. 22, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Mounties and emergency medical services arrived on the scene at the corner of 32nd Street and 25th Avenue in Vernon where a man had been badly burned.

The 53-year-old Vernon man was transported from the scene for treatment of serious injuries.

The initial investigation led police to Polson Park where it’s believed the victim sustained his injuries.
