No injuries reported in collision on Highway 97

A single vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 97 near Meadowlark Road north of Vernon on Tuesday (Nov. 2) did not result in any injuries.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP’s preliminary investigation has determined that a small Honda passenger vehicle was travelling north on the highway when it went to merge into the neighbouring lane.

However, the driver over corrected and lost control, which resulted in the vehicle flipping several times before coming to rest in a ditch.

The RCMP say no injuries were reported at the time, and that the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
