B.C. records 2,090 new COVID-19 cases, 28 more deaths
British Columbia had 2,090 new COVID-19 cases over the Thanksgiving long weekend, which works out to an average of 523 per day.
The numbers included 603 cases on Oct. 9, 634 on Oct. 10, 468 on Oct. 11, and 385 today, Oct. 12.
Interior Health had 404 new cases (average of 101 per day), and now has 841 active cases, down 288 from Friday.
There are 5,183 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 357 people in hospital and 153 in intensive care.
