Tronson Road boat launch will be closed for seven weeks

The boat launch at 8130 Tronson Road will be closed for just over seven weeks in order to facilitate the constructions of an adjacent project.

The boat launch will be closed temporarily from Oct. 4 to Nov. 17, and those looking to access Okanagan Lake are advised to use the Paddlewheel Park boat launch.

The construction project involves shoreline restoration measures to protect Tronson Road from erosion.

The City notes that aesthetic work will be done at the site as well, including native planting, creating a seating area, building fences, and installing bike racks.
