Evacuation Alerts rescinded for Seymour Arm and Sicamous, remains in place for Swansea Point

Sicamous and Seymour Arm residents can breathe a sigh of relief.

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District’s emergency program rescinded the Evacuation Alert for properties in the District of Sicamous and in the community of Seymour Arm.

All properties in the rescind area are considered All Clear.

But as the Two Mile Creek fire is still burning nearby, the Evacuation Alert remains in effect for all properties within the community of Swansea Point, as well as all those to the east of Mara Lake.
