September shows added at Performing Arts Centre

The fall season will be welcomed in with new shows at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre.

Mike Delamont’s Socially Distanced Stand Up Comedy Tour- RETURNS! will include two shows on Friday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The award-winning stand-up comedian brings his family-friendly comedy to the centre, talking everything from marriage to foreign travel and confronting bidets in a hilarious evening of comedy you won’t ever forget!.

Also in September, Jodie B. will be the inaugural performer in the new FOCUS OnSTAGE Concert Series on Friday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Jodie B is a live loop performer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, performing as both a solo artist and as a duo with her sister, Nique. Her original craft is “a seamless blend of electro-soul, inspired by FKJ, Atmosphere, Rufus Du Sol, NomBe and DubFx.”

Jodie B performs with her guitar, violin, bass, harmonicas, synths, vocals and electronic drums, while her sister Nique Blue, specializes in saxophone, mandolin and harmonizing vocals.

Tickets for Mike Delamont’s Socially Distanced Stand Up Comedy Tour- RETURNS! are $25 for all seats, (sold by tables of 2, 4 and 6 persons).
