Police limit access to evacuation alert areas in Vernon

RCMP are restricting access to the Vernon neighbourhoods of Adventure Bay and Canadian Lakeview Estates to residents only in support of the Evacuation Alert issued by the City of Vernon this afternoon.

“If you are not a resident, please stay away,” said a RCMP news release.

Residents in the areas are being asked to prepare for an immediate evacuation should an Evacuation Order be issued.
