Lazar signs new deal with Sabres

Curtis Lazar is returning to the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.
The 25-year-old forward from Salmon Arm signed a two-year contract with an average annual value of $800,000.
Lazar, who grew up in Vernon, was a first round draft choice, 17th overall, by the Ottawa Senators in 2013.
The former Edmonton Oil Kings star netted 5 goals with 5 assists in 38 games for the Sabres last season.
