B.C. records 50 cases, one new death from COVID-19
There are 50 new COVID-19 cases across the province and one new death from the virus, B.C.’s top health officials reported Friday.
The joint statement from Health Minister Adrian Dix, Minister of Health and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said there are currently 278 active cases of the virus in the province while 3,168 people have recovered.
“Of the total COVID-19 cases, five individuals are hospitalized, two of whom are in intensive care,” they said.
