UPDATE
RCMP say the body of a missing West Kelowna man has been found, and the coroner has been called to assist in the investigation.
Police say Glen Tarbet, 49, went missing Saturday (July 18) was found today (July 20).
The cause of death is not considered suspicious at this time.
“The BC Coroners Service is also investigating to determine how, where, when and by what means he came to his death. Due to the privacy of the deceased, neither organization will be releasing or confirming identity. No other information is available at this time,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a West Kelowna man.
Glen Tarbet, 49, was last seen leaving the West Kelowna family residence at 5 a.m. on July 17, 2020 in his 2018 black Ford Explorer with British Columbia licence plate FP964W.
Mr. Tarbet description is as follows:
· Caucasian
· 49-years-old
· Brown hair
· Brown eyes
· Height: 180 cm or 5’9
· Weight: 91 kg or 200 pounds
He was last seen wearing shorts and t-shirt, possibly workout attire (colour not known)
The investigation to date has revealed the last known whereabouts of Mr. Tarbet’s 2018 black Ford Explorer to be in the area of Bear Creek. While there are many forest service roads in the area, heavy police canvassing has not resulted in locating the vehicle or Mr. Tarbet.
“Police are deeply concerned for Mr. Tarbet’s well-being and he maybe in possession of firearms,” said Corporal Meghan Foster of the West Kelowna RCMP. “Should anyone see this vehicle, or Mr. Tarbet, please do not approach him and immediately contact 9-1-1.”
