Enderby man starts the day with coffee and $75,000

Mar 6, 2020 | 2:48 PM

An Enderby resident got a pleasant surprise while sipping his morning coffee.

Bradley Croney discovered he won $75,000 by matching five of six numbers plus the bonus number for Wednesday’s BC/49.

“I thought I was still foggy, but it was real,” he said.

As he picked up his cheque from B.C. Lotteries in Kamloops, Croney said he was still coming to grips with the good news.

“It is still really surreal and is sinking in the more I tell people,” he said.

Croney purchased the ticket at G&B Fuels on George Street in Enderby.

Someone who bought a ticket in Courtenay won the $2 million jackpot from Wednesday’s draw, a prize that has yet to be claimed.
