Ride hailing applications turned down
Five more companies have been turned down for ride hailing services by B.C.’s Passenger Transportation Board
All five wanted to operate in a variety of regions including the Okanagan.
Coastal Rides was the only company given approval to offer ride hailing in the latest round of rulings, with their focus on Vancouver Island and B.C. North Central.
They are the fifth company to get the green light from the independent licensing tribunal, joining the likes of Uber and Lyft.
