Members of the business community are mourning the loss of a local leader.

Peter Rotzetter, president of the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce, passed away this week.

He was 57-years-old.

The Chamber has contacted members asking them to take a moment to reflect on Rotzetter’s legacy and his dedication to the community.

“Since arriving and calling this region home for over a decade, Peter and Jolanda have fostered caring and compassionate connections and relationships. We at the Chamber, extend our deepest condolences to Jolanda and their many friends and associates,” read the statement.

“We would like to assure our members that the Chamber, of which Peter was president, is in good hands. Sean Newton will move from Vice President to Acting Vice (sic) President and Cheryl Hood will move from Second Vice to Acting Vice President.”

Memorial arrangements are being made.
