Tasting event returning to SilverStar

SilverStar Mountain Resort is bringing back the perfect event to close out the winter season.

The Vernon-area resort along with the B.C. Wine Cider and Spirits Festival have announced the return of Showpass presents Winterland – Wine, Cider and Spirits Tasting on April 4, 2020 at SilverStar from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Early bird tickets are currently on sale with a limited amount left available for the sensory tasting experience back for a second year.

“The event is all inclusive, meaning that your food from Kelowna’s Okanagan Street Food, entertainment by DJ Froggy Stylz, and Cosmic Co-Motion; and samples from the onsite B.C. Wine Cider and Spirits Festival members and more are all included in the $79 ticket price ($70 for those lucky enough to get the last few early bird tickets),” a news release from SilverStar said.

Tastings will include producers like After Dark Distillery, Intrigue Wines, and Meyer Family Vineyards. Organizers say the outdoor igloo tasting event is not one to miss.

The festival works with the BuyBC program to promote products being produced by their 100+ craft liquor industry members, with proceeds from events going to support of the B.C. Hospitality Foundation.
