It’s budget day in the city of Vernon.
The city has started three days of special meetings in council chambers to discuss a proposed 3.35 percent tax revenue increase for 2020.
That includes 1.9 per cent for an annual infrastructure levy and 1.45 per cent for operations.
City staff says the proposed 3.35 per cent increase would amount to $58 for the average household.
The meetings are open to the public, and a public input session starts at 2:30 today at council chambers
