Senior dog looking for a home for the holidays

A dog named Teki is looking for some Christmas cheer this holiday season.

At nearly 13-years-old, Teki had surgery to remove two painful lumps and received treatment for severe dental disease.

The Vernon & District SPCA says she arrived in their care underweight, but has been slowly regaining her health.

The SPCA is hoping to raise $1,690 for her care.

Teki is currently up for adoption and the SPCA hope she can spend the holidays in her forever home.

“Teki is such a sweetie and deserves an awesome retirement home,” said SPCA Vernon & District branch manager Chelsea Taylor.

Those interested in adopting Teki or helping other animals are asked to visit the branch at 4800 Haney Road or by calling 250-549-7279.
