Hill would consider another Double Deca: ‘I never say never anymore’
Shanda Hill has gone from making Canadian history, to taking lots of ice baths.
The Vernon ultra athlete became the first Canadian to complete the Double Deca triathlon in Mexico last week, a race that is the equivalent of 20 Ironmans.
The event features a 76 km swim, a 3,600 km bike ride and an 844 km run.
Hill finished fifth overall among the 14 men and women that started, second among the women, and became just the third female to finish the race.
