Sagmoen trials set for December
Trial dates have been set in Vernon for Curtis Sagmeon.
The 38-year-old Shuswap resident is facing two separate trials in B.C. Supreme Court, both in December.
The B.C. Prosecution Service tells Vernon Matters, the first, starting Dec. 2, 2019, is a continuation on five charges accusing Sagmoen of threatening a sex trade worker with a gun near Falkland in 2017.
The trial began Sept. 9 with Sagmoen entering not guilty pleas to the charges which include uttering threats, disguising face with intent to commit an offence, intentionally discharging a firearm, use of firearm to commit an indictable offence and possession of a controlled substance.
