Change in RCMP media relations

The Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP will have a new person in charge of media relations later this fall.

Const. Kelly Brett is leaving the position as of Oct. 15.

She has held the role since November 2017.

Brett will be staying at the Vernon detachment, joining the RCMP’s Special Victims Unit as the domestic violence investigator.

Her successor in media relations has not yet been announced.
