Celebration of life to remember Gareb

The community gets its chance to say goodbye to Jack Gareb at services later this week.

The respected Schubert Centre manager died last week after 25 years of running the downtown seniors facility.

Gareb’s family will hold a viewing and prayers at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, starting at 4 p.m. Friday Oct. 11.

A funeral service will be at St. James Catholic Church on Saturday Oct. 12 at 1 p.m, burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at 2:30 p.m., and a celebration of life at the Schubert Centre Saturday at 3 p.m.
