A teenager from Enderby is facing possible charges after allegedly making online bomb threats to Montreal’s airport.

Police say several false bomb threats were made to Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport via the internet over a month-long period.

North Okanagan RCMP were contacted by authorities in Quebec, and investigators were led to an Enderby residence where a 16-year-old boy was arrested at his family’s home.

“During the search warrant, investigators seized multiple electronic devices from the home that will be further examined by police,” Vernon RCMP Media Relations Officer Const. Kelly Brett said. “Threats of this nature are taken very seriously by authorities and the consequences for this youth could be life altering.”
