Biker suffers extensive injuries

Aug 1, 2019 | 3:32 PM

A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to care after a crash in Enderby this afternoon.

The bike collided with a car on Evergreen Street behind Sutherland’s Bakery.

Police say the bike driver suffered extensive injuries and was airlifted to the nearest medical facility by the B.C. Ambulance Service.

The car driver sustained no apparent injuries, but was taken to hospital as a precaution.

“As the long weekend approaches, B.C. highways and roads will grow increasingly busier and the RCMP want to remind motorists to allow time for your travels and obey all posted road signs,” Const. Kelly Brett, media relations officer for Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, said.
