Could park fatal lead to safety changes?
It’s too soon to say if a man’s death in Kalamalka Provincial Park will lead to new safety measures for visitors in the popular recreation area.
A 72-year-old Vernon man was hiking in the park Saturday when he fell from a cliff and landed in the water, dying of his injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the B.C. Coroner’s Service.
A spokesperson for B.C. Parks said they need to know more about the incident before they can consider any changes.
