Pedestrian hit by vehicle

There was another vehicle-pedestrian collision in Vernon on 30th Street across from the downtown fire station and the RCMP detachment.

Fire Chief Dave Lind said Fire Rescue and police were on scene within moments around 9:30 a.m.

“The patient was transported to the hospital by EMS (Emergency Medical Services) for definitive care,” Lind told Vernon Matters.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, as police investigated.

No other details have been released.
