Ebus proposes new services

Jun 6, 2019 | 5:14 PM

Ebus, which began operating passenger bus service in Vernon and other cites after Greyhound’s departure last fall, wants to expand its routes.

In a news release, the company says it has applied to the Passenger Transportation Board to serve Salmon Arm and Prince George.

The Salmon Arm stop would be added to the existing Kamloops-to-Kelowna run, and would provide stops in Chase, Sorrento, Salmon Arm, Enderby and Armstrong.

The route to Prince George would originate in Kamloops, and would include Cache Creek, 70 Mile House, 100 Mile House, Lac La Hache, Williams Lake, Quesnel and Hixon before reaching Prince George.

Ebus says stop locations and pricing are yet to be determined.
