Hey Diddle Diddle…these cows ain’t jumping over anything….!

It all started down under with news of Knickers, the Australian cow, on the depth chart at an impressive 6 foot 4.

Not to be outdone, in true Trump fashion, Cowboy from California checked in at 6 foot 6 and tipped the scales about 3000 lbs.

Time for Canada to weigh in…first down the chute was Dozer from Manitoba in at 6-foot-5.

Then, as seen on Global News, Jim Saiko from Armstrong introduced us to Buddy. “His last measurements were 6-foot-5 and a half and growing” boasted Jim.

Saiko got Buddy six years ago when it was a calf — with the intent of turning him into steaks and burgers. Instead, Jim and Buddy…soon were…buddies.

Buddy towers over the herd, certainly has caught the eye of the ladies, tips the scales around 2400 lbs. and has a fondness for watermelons, tomatoes and apples.

Buddy has become quite a bit of a celebrity in Armstrong with people asking to take pictures of the big guy.

The big bovine tends to follow Jim around the yard, not unlike a giant dog, so they’ve basically become inseparable.

Saiko is planning on making a move and unfortunately Buddy has to stay, so whoever buys the place…gets a giant pet thrown in as a bonus.

Don’t be surprised if one of the contingencies of the sale requires Buddy not to land up anywhere near a freezer…unless it happens to be full of hay.
