Two More Days For Hamper Interviews

Vernon’s Salvation Army expects to distribute at least 600 hampers to families and people in need just before Christmas.

About 250 applications for those hampers which includes a full Christmas diner and toys for any children, have been made so far.

Lieutenant Stefan Reid says they’ll be holding interviews until 4 pm today, and then another full day next Thursday Dec 5th at the House of Hope on 33rd Street.

“The times for that are 9 am to 12 pm, 1:30 to 4, and 6 pm to 8pm for those people who work Monday to Friday and can’t get out during the day,” says Reid.
