The weather didn’t hamper the crowds from attending the Remembrance Day services indoors or out yesterday.

Thousands gathered at Kal Tire Place in Vernon for the City’s Remembrance Day Ceremony. A much smaller but dedicated crowd were present at Cenotaph Park to honour the men and women of Canada’s military from all wars.

They were treated to a 3 plane flyover at 11am to officially acknowledge the event from the air.
