CFL: Cat Fight East Semi…Pay-Back West Semi

CFL playoff action today the early game features the B-C Lions, as the crossover team, taking on Hamilton to face the Tiger-Cats in the East semifinal.

The Ti-Cats will be hoping to halt a three-game slide.  Hamilton finished the season at 8-and-10, good for second place in the East.  B-C was 9-and-9 and got into the playoffs via the crossover.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions…clubs that traditionally have had little in the way of a rivalry, split their season series this year BC winning in OT in the first meeting and the second game being a blowout win for the Ticats.  That’s a 10am start our time.

It’s still not clear who will start at quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders today in the C-F-L West semifinal.  The Roughriders tweeted yesterday that Zach Collaros would be the starter against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this afternoon, but the team later deleted the tweet. Even Collaros when asked by reporters yesterday, would not say if he would dress for the game.
