Fire Hall Project Ready To Go

Lake Country’s Mayor says the District is going to move quickly on plans to replace the old firehall in Winfield.

The referendum asking voters approval to borrow up to 6.6 million dollars for a new building was approved Oct 20.

Mayor James Baker says the land and design is ready, and 2020 is the estimated time for completion.

“We just have to go public with what we’re spending the money on,” Baker tells Beach Radio.
